4. Labour flex their muscles against Uplands residents

Preparations are made to apply to make the Rec a village green to protect it from development.

Labour council decide to oppose the application, despite pleas from residents. They instruct barristers to take on the Uplands campaigners.

After a 3 day hearing where many Uplands residents passionately gave evidence, our application fails.

VOTE UPLANDS and we will campaign for the Labour Council not to oppose a new Village Green application.
