Irene has been involved heavily in environmental and conservation work in Uplands. She is pictured here planting beds in Uplands Crescent. Irene also chairs the community centre and runs Uplands PACT meetings.

Rhys has lives locally and runs the fish and chip shop in the heart of Brynmill. Prior to this, Rhys has proudly carried out military service as a paratrooper. Rhys's focus is for cleaner streets in Brynmill. To put this into practice, Rhys frequently organises litter picks with locals and societies within the university. He feels that this gives the students a sense of being part of our community.
