AVOID THE DROP
Uplands councillors have been on site working with the council to protect the public from the steep drop from the Penlan Crescent into the Cwmdonkin Park. After considering options, a chestnut fence was chosen as the best solution. All four Uplands councillors used their community budget to fund the works.
PAVEMENT RENEWAL
Uplands Party Councillors have used £5,500 of our community budget to attract a further £18,000 of council investment to prioritise badly needed works on the St Helen’s Avenue. We are aware of other footways that also need attention and we aim to get to these as quickly as we can.
