CAR VANDALISM IN CWMDONKIN AND MOUNT PLEASANT

We are working with the police, council and other councillors to fund CCTV cameras to try and stop the repeated attacks on vehicles in the Terrace Road area.


The council has been approached by a company to trial a new type of camera. If successful, we will contribute to the cost of it through our community budgets.

We have been trialing cameras for certain areas and are at the stage of producing workable solutions for individual sites bearing in mind range cost and mode of power.

We have now started a small number of installations. We are hoping to install a few more to deter anti social behaviour and flytipping in identified hotspots.
