BENCHES
We have a programme of refurbishing benches that have fallen into disrepair and installing new ones as needed. We use our community budget to fund this and engage Uplands businesses to carry out the work. One of the latest refurbishments carried out is pictured here on the junction with Lon Cadog and Lon Cynfor.

Cwmdonkin Park
The refurbished benches here compliment the work carried out with the Dylan Thomas trail. Uplands businesses were involve in the construction and painting.
Brynmill Park
The flower bench by the lake is part of the project too.
REMEMBRANCE ON THE UPLANDS SEAFRONT
Benches that remember our fallen heroes.
The Uplands Ward coastline runs from Victoria Park to Brynmill Lane and includes the cenotaph.
Our community budget has been used to match fund a Heritage Lottery grant. This has facilitated the refurbishment of the seafront benches to pay a fitting tribute to those who sacrificed their
lives.
Please take time to visit the cenotaph and benches and pause to remember and reflect.
